For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof. Psalm 50:10-12
You know the feeling when things in life break down, and suddenly, everything is screaming for attention. I get worried sick! But a worried heart looks like writing God a letter that says…
Dear Lord,
I’m sorry but I can handle this myself. First, I will think about the problem and think about it some more. Then I will explore many alternatives to find my answer because I really doubt you’ve got this!
Sincerely,
A Worried Heart
Worry says it doubts God can handle the situation. Worry says you don’t deserve peace. Worry snatches your joy.
But the Good News is: There is deliverance for a worrier. There is Jesus for the worried heart. When I heard a gentle whisper say to me “My Daddy Has Everything,” I burst out in praises! Maybe things are out of control–your bills are running high and you struggle to meet up.
Sister, God has Everything.
For you who desires healing from sickness or comfort for a broken heart…
Your Daddy has Everything.
For you who desires fruitfulness, or peace in your marriage or in your life…
Your Daddy has everything.
Whatever you need is right there with your Father.
God is your Daddy. He is Your Heavenly Father. He loves you more than your earthly father or anyone else. He cares deeply for you.
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7: 9-11
God can handle every situation, none is exempt. Let the Word of God in your heart quench the voice of worry. What your Daddy has said outweighs whatever worries your heart.
God satisfies us with His mercy and with life… Psalm 90:14; Psalm 91:16.
He is our sufficiency… 2 Corinthians 12:9; 2 Corinthians 3:5.
He owns everything… Psalm 50:10-12.
